Eddy current testing is a non-destructive testing method that uses electromagnetic fields. It detects cracks, pores, and corrosion losses in electrically conductive materials and determines coating and wall thicknesses. In addition, it can identify material mix-ups. The method operates without contact, is extremely fast, and can be fully automated.
